Default Sunspear/Primeval armor for Rit and Sin

Within the first 3 days i rushed my Sin through Nightfall to much dismay i found no new armor that i liked. I figured this was like the missing hero Razah or the Elite mission which were both still in production. After the Elite mission was released and Razah could now be obtained I figured by now we would get those missing sets of armor. Now to some people armor is armor, plain and simple. People like myself on the other hand don't care how much the armor costs as long as it looks good. Well to sum it up in fewer words some of us feel like we were left hanging. I'd love to add more to my armor collection.

Well, art is subjective! (That whole "eye of the beholder..." thing!) And Wiki is your friend!! Better to look and be prepared for what is (or isn't) available than to be blindsided, or worse, disappointed. (The Vabbi Sin armor looks pretty cool though!)

Sounds like a pretty big assumption, so I'm sorry to say that I don't have a whole lot of sympathy. I haven't seen *anything* to indicate this possibility. Aside from the wild guess, what were you basing this on? Did you see any evidence from official sources about new armor, or forum posts, or screenshots perhaps?

Uhhh did you find any Sin armour in Marhan's Grotto or any Derv armour in Vasburg Armory?

It was quite unusual for them to have any armours at all in NF for Sin and Rit(Bone Palace)...and I loved both of them (female versions admittedly).

I would have to agree, the rit and sin didn't have armor in prophecies, so be thankful there was any at all added in NF. Especially as the assumption was they weren't even going to be supported. At least they got something! :-)

It's a pity both sin designs are heavy on the sharp pointy things, but that's a sin problem generally. Oh, for an ascended take on Shing Jea... sigh.

Still, looking forward, it sounds like "Eye of the North" will offer more choice - assuming the 40 new sets of armour is 4 for each of the 10 professions (i.e. non-core included).

Now don't be mean to people who are goal oriented. I have finished all continents with all my 12 chars cause I can't help but wanna get to the end. There's still lots to do after you finished the game...like side quests, master rewards and helping others get there.

the armor sets will be for all classes...there's no point in excluding any classes there. We now reached the max amout of classes so there will not be a point of retroactively making new armours.

As you could see with each expansion anyway, you can see that all classes that are out at that moment get armour. That's why NF had armour for Ritu and Sin aswell.

Prophecies had armour for all 6 classes at the time
Factions had armour for all 8 classes at the time
Nightfall has armour for all 10 classes available.

You tell me why they would now bring out an expansion that doesn't have armour for all 10 classes?

There should at least be sin and rit Primeval, just like they have Vabbian and Ancient. Hell, the Forgotten obviously are familiar with the classes since they offer greens for them...

I would love to see armor for the sin that didnt look like ginsu sponsored it.

I do agree that the rit and sin do need some love in the armor department. Primevil would be nice.

In an effort to make the profession more popular, 31 of the 40 new armor sets in GW:EN will be for the Mesmer profession. Each other profession will recieve 1 set.

And check out Ventari's Sell, I have the drawbridge for Ft. Ranik for sale. Cheap!!!
